Grounded was born from a simple conviction: that great coffee deserves a great setting. We took a shipping container, filled it with warmth, timber, rope pendant lights, some professional coffee equipment and tucked it under the trees at 22 Van Praagh in Milton Park.
We opened in January 2026 with a full espresso bar, a food menu built around freshly made samoosas, scones, pies, and toasties, wors rolls.... and a seating garden framed by murals. We didn't want to build another takeaway counter. We wanted to build somewhere worth going to.
Everything at Grounded is Halaal certified through Jamiat Halaal Zimbabwe. Our personal commitment to quality, integrity, and inclusivity. If you're here for the coffee, the chai latte, or just a quiet corner with good vibes — you're exactly who we built this for.
